Additional information
Hearing no sound or just wind?
There are three reasons you might not be able to make sounds or hear too much wind.
- Air Tightness: First check that all the sections are extended fully to create a tight seal between each of them, you might need to gently pull on each end of the flute until they "crack" in place.
- Finger Positioning: Second check your finger position, your first finger might be to close to the labium and hinder airflow through the window, and also ensure that all your fingers make good seals on the tone holes.
- Blowing too hard: Finally, keep in mind that this is a tiny flute, you might simply be blowing too hard into it.
